David I. Weinstein is a highly respected and accomplished criminal attorney. A former Assistant State's Attorney for Prince George's County from 1989-2008, Mr. Weinstein was the Chief of the Grand Jury and Felony Screening Division of the State's Attorney Office, as well as the lead Assistant State's Attorney for Police Misconduct and Excessive Force in Prince George's County. He was a member of the State Task Force to Combat Driving Under the Influence of Drugs and Alcohol, a member of the Maryland Gang Legislation Task Force and a member of the Maryland State's Attorney's Association, Legislative Committee. He has lectured on Criminal Law, Evidence & Investigations for the Prince George's County Police Department and on Grand Jury practice and Legislation to State's Attorney's Offices across Maryland.
