Mason P. Ashe recently joined the law firm of Schulman, Treem, Kaminkow & Gilden as Of Counsel, with a focus in the areas of Sports & Entertainment, Intellectual Property, Contracts, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
For twenty years, Ashe served as the legal advisor, brand strategist, and chief negotiator of complex agreements related to employment, licensing, product endorsement, digital content acquisition, and corporate sponsorship for some of America’s most notable professional athletes, entertainers, corporations, and charitable organizations associated with football, basketball, golf, music, television, and comedy.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashe was the founder and CEO of Ashe Sports & Entertainment Consulting, Inc. for five years. Prior to ASEC, Ashe was co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Strickland & Ashe Management Consulting (“SAM”), LLC, which was one of the largest minority-owned sports agencies in America for seven years. Before SAM, he spent four years as a sports and marketing agent at International Management Group (“IMG”) – the world’s first premier full-service sports agency. He began as a Director in the Teams Sports Division, and was later promoted to Vice President.
